Taking Time To Fellowship
In addition to the community service, social action, Guide Right, and political awareness events, the Wilmington (DE) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., also participated in events that celebrated brotherhood, service, and significant people in their lives.
Summer White Soiree 2026
On Saturday, June 20, 2026, the Wilmington (DE) Alumni Chapter hosted its Summer White Soiree at the Delaware Art Museum in Wilmington, Delaware.
Brothers and guests arrived dressed in their best all-white attire to celebrate the start of the summer season. The evening featured DJ Breaz spinning a mix of Hip-Hop and R&B, along with a live band that kept guests entertained throughout the event.
The chapter was also honored to welcome U.S. Representative Lisa Blunt Rochester as a special guest for the evening. Her attendance added to an already memorable celebration and highlighted the strong connection between the chapter and leaders within the community.
The Summer White Soiree provided an evening of fellowship, music, and celebration as the Wilmington (DE) Alumni Chapter welcomed the summer in style.
Joint Founders Day Banquet
On Saturday, January 3, 2026 the Wilmington (DE) Alumni Chapter hosted a joint Founders’ Day celebration with the Dover (DE) Alumni Chapter. The brothers within the chapter enjoyed a catered banquet, where brothers fellowshipped, and recognized each other for outstanding service within in the Fraternity.
The Keynote Speaker for the event was Dr Vincent Daniels , the owner and operator of Blue Diamond Dental and also apart of the Wilmington (DE) Alumni Chapter.Brother Daniels delivered a remarkable and inspiring address, challenging the brothers to rededicate themselves to the noble ideals and principles upon which our Fraternity was founded. He emphasized the importance of carrying those values beyond our bond of brotherhood and using them to make a meaningful impact in the lives of the young men within our communities.
His message served as a powerful reminder of our responsibility as Kappa men to lead by example, mentor the next generation, and remain committed to achievement in every field of human endeavor.
2026 Sweetheart Affair
The 2026 Sweetheart Affair was held on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at The Waterfall in Claymont, Delaware. Guests enjoyed an elegant cocktail hour featuring a variety of hors d’oeuvres and premium spirits, while Master of Ceremonies Brian Stokes Jr. kept the evening’s program lively and engaging.
Following dinner, Polemarch Stephens led a special Champagne Toast honoring the ladies. The brothers presented each lady with a rose and a kiss before the Wilmington (DE) Alumni Chapter Choir concluded the tribute with the cherished “Kappa Sweetheart Song.”
The evening was a memorable celebration of love, fellowship, and Kappa tradition.
