On Saturday, August 24, 2024, the Wilmington (DE) Alumni Chapter held its second annual Kappa Kommunity Day at its Achievement Center. The event was a daylong festival with fun, music, and activities for the local residents and community members.
During the event, the Wilmington (DE) Alumni Chapter provided free food, bookbags, school supplies, face painting, haircuts, hair washing and curling for community members.
The chapter also partnered with the Delaware Department of Elections, Black Nurses Rock, and Christiana Health Care System to provide health screenings, breastfeeding training, and voter registration.
Over 300 community members attended the event.
Additional programs and services during Kommunity Day included:
Partnered with Christiana Care Health System and providing health screening services. The Christiana Care Mobile Health trailer provided free checkups and screenings for local residents in the community.

On Wednesday, October 30, 2024, the brothers of the Wilmington (DE) Alumni Chapter hosted their Annual Halloween Safehouse Party at the Neighborhood House, in the Southbridge section of Wilmington, Delaware. The Annual Halloween Party provided a fun and safe alternative to trick-or-treating, for the children in the local community. The brothers provided food, juice, candy, and lots of interactive games for over 100 children in attendance.

On Friday, December 20, 2024, the brothers of the Wilmington (DE) Alumni Chapter hosted their Holiday Safehouse Party at the Neighborhood House, in the Southbridge section of Wilmington, Delaware. The Holiday Safehouse was a Christmas-themed party for the children in the local community. The brothers of the Wilmington (DE) Alumni Chapter provided pizza, beverages, gifts and prizes, and lots of interactive games for over 50 children in attendance.

The Wilmington (DE) Alumni Chapter sponsored a clothing drive during the month of January 2025. During the clothing drive, the Wilmington (DE) Alumni Chapter collected over 10 boxes full of gently used clothing. The purpose of the clothing drive was to provide much needed men’s clothing and accessories for residents at Sojourners' Place, which provides food, shelter, and clothing to homeless and less-fortunate people within the community On Saturday, February 1, 2025, the Wilmington (DE) Alumni Chapter delivered the clothing to Sojourner’s Place.
